The current bylaws of the Krio Descendants Union of Texas were adopted by the membership and govern how the chapter operates — board composition, elections, dues, committees, and chapter procedure.

The chapter holds an Annual General Meeting (AGM) each year at the family reunion. All members in good standing have voice and vote. Notice is sent at least 30 days in advance.
KDU Texas is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Tax-exempt status documentation is available on request.
