GIVE

Help us keep doing this work.

Every gift funds a scholarship, a relief shipment, or a thanksgiving table. KDU Texas is a 501(c)(3) — your gift is tax-deductible.

Every dollar the chapter receives goes directly to the work — scholarships for students in Sierra Leone, the Akinola Wyse Symposium series, health-and-wellness outreach, and the relief shipments we organize when there’s a need back home.

Where your gift goes

  • Scholarships. Direct tuition support for students at Methodist Girls’ High School, Annie Walsh, and the Prince of Wales School.
  • Health & Wellness Outreach. Free blood pressure screenings, counselling, and care for communities in Freetown and the provinces.
  • Relief shipments. Containers of books, medical kits, and goods packed by chapter volunteers in Texas.
  • The Akinola Wyse Symposium. A yearly lecture series in the Krio intellectual tradition.

Tax-deductible

KDU Texas is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN to come). Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. A receipt arrives in your inbox immediately after you give.
